Man's death no longer treated as suspicious

Gardaí are no longer treating as suspicious the death of a man found in a house near Ennis, Co Clare.

Gardaí are no longer treating as suspicious the death of a man found in a house near Ennis, Co Clare.

The Deputy State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy  carried out a post mortem at Mid Western Regional Hospital which showed Mr Pat McHugh (46), a native of Belfast living in Kilcorrish, Fountain, died from natural causes.

The man's body was found by his partner who had just returned from a trip overseas. There were no signs of a break-in, but bloodstains were found.
