A man is recovering in hospital after a shooting in Tallaght, Co Dublin, early yesterday. Up to five men forced their way into a caravan at a halting site in the Killinarden area. In a struggle with the men the caravan-owner was shot in the leg in front of his wife and four children.
The man, who also sustained a head injury, was taken to St James's Hospital. Gardai say his injuries are not serious and that no arrests have been made.
