A man was shot once in the leg at around 10 p.m. last night, in Bangor, Co Down, the RUC reported. The incident took place at Kilclies Gardens, offthe Kilcooley Estate, a loyalist area. His condition was not thought to be serious.
The police said the man (25) was not co-operating with their inquiries. He apparently received a phone call and was given an address at which to be at a certain time, they said.
