A man (24) suffered serious head injuries in an assault in Co Donegal early this morning.
The Garda at Letterkenny are investigating the incident, which happened in a car park at Ramelton Road in the town at 3 a.m.
The victim was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital and has been transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
One man is being questioned.
