A man accused of planning to hijack a London-bound Ryanair flight last month was released from custody in Sweden today without charge.

But prosecutors said the investigation would continue into why Mr Kerim Chatty (29) had a gun in his hand luggage when he tried to board the airliner.
Mr Chatty was arrested at the end of last month at Vasteras, a small airport near Stockholm, after a gun was found in his hand luggage as he tried to board the flight.
His arrest came as security forces across the world braced themselves for a possible September 11th anniversary attack.
