THE Catholic Marriage Counselling Service, Accord, introducing its 1995 annual report yesterday in Dublin, announced a theme linking all Masses in the Dublin Archdiocese tomorrow violence against women.

The concept of "the violence of silence" was discussed. The coordinator of marriage guidance, Ms Penny Wilson, said: "We meet this violent silence a lot in our counselling rooms and, almost always, we find that this way of dealing with conflict was observed and learned at home."
