The computerised National Archive for Mathematics Education was launched yesterday at Maynooth by the Minister of State for Science and Technology, Mr Michael Smith.
The project, which is the brainchild of the Irish Mathematics Teachers' Association, provides communications and data links between teachers, students and all who are interested in mathematics education.
It was announced at the start of a week-long summer school in information technology for 200 maths teachers organised by the IMTA at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth.
