Mick McCarthy today announced just two changes from the Irish team that beat Cyprus on Saturday.

As predicted by many, Damien Duff will replace Jason McAteer on the right-hand side of midfield, leaving Kevin Kilbane to raid down the left. The only other switch sees Mark Kinsella take a rest while Matty Holland, the hero in Lisbon, will start.

David Connolly, who impressed his manager greatly in Nicosia, will continue to partner Robbie Keane, meaning Gary Doherty will have to hope for an appearance as substitute.

Full team:
Shay Given, Gary Kelly, Gary Breen, Kenny Cunningham, Ian Harte, Roy Keane, Matt Holland, Damien Duff, Kevin Kilbane, Robbie Keane, David Connolly
