Ireland's Paul McGinley is the latest big name to confirm he will play at the $700,000 Hong Kong Open next month.
The 34-year-old Dubliner will join American John Daly in the event which gets under way on November 29th at the Hong Kong Golf Club .
The tournament is being jointly sanctioned by the Asian PGA and the European Tour for the first time.
A number of other star names are expected to be announced over the next few weeks, but one of the best fields in the history of the event is assured with the tournament boasting 60 players from the Asian tour and 60 from the European Tour.
McGinley will head to Hong Kong to cap what has been the finest season of his 10-year professional career.
"It's been a great season for me so far and I'm aiming to continue to play well right up until the end of the year," he said.
"It's important that I keep the momentum going right on through to next year's Ryder Cup. The Hong Kong Open will be an excellent event for me to play in before the winter break in Europe," said McGinley, who lies 11th on the European Tour Order of Merit.
