BRITAIN: Family and friends of murdered Iraq hostage Mr Ken Bigley attended a church service in Liverpool at the weekend in memory of the 62-year-old engineer beheaded by Iraqi militants last month.
The Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, Mr O'Donoghue, joined the British Prime Minister, Mr Tony Blair, and a large crowd at the memorial service at Liverpool's Anglican cathedral on Saturday.
Mr Blair read aloud from the Bible, while Mr Paul Bigley, who had accused Mr Blair of "having blood on his hands" over the death, spoke about his memories of his brother.
The body of Mr Bigley has never been found.
