Six men have appeared in court in Dublin over an alleged attempted robbery of almost €1 million from a cash-in-transit van in Celbridge, Co Kildare, last week.
All appeared before Cloverhill District Court and were remanded in custody to appear before the same court on various dates later this month.
Wayne Bradley (28), Ratoath Rd, Finglas, Dublin 11, and Alan Bradley (33) of Cappagh Road, Finglas, were remanded in custody until November 15th.
Eamon Dunne (31), Dunsoughly Drive, Ratoath Road, Finglas; Jefferey Morrow (25) of Hazelcroft Road, Finglas; Michael Ryan (34) of Carton Drive, Poppintree, Ballymun, Dublin 11; and Joseph Warren (25) of Belclare Crescent, Ballymun, Dublin 11, were remanded in custody until November 22nd.
A seventh man appeared yesterday before Cloverhill District Court on similar charges.
Darryl Caffrey (33), Cherry Park, Rivervalley, Swords, Co Dublin was remanded in custody until November 14th to appear before the same court.
All the charges relate to the alleged attempted robbery of €955,000 from an unmarked Chubb security vehicle in the car park of Tesco supermarket in Celbridge, Co Kildare, last Friday morning.
