A military plane carrying members of parliament and other local officials has crashed in Kenya, with 13 feared dead and four injured.
A Defence Ministry official said the group was on its way to the northeastern town of Marsabit to mediate between warring communities in the area, where conflict over pasture and water is common.
The official said four people - including the pilot, a provincial commissioner and a district commissioner - were being flown to hospital with broken limbs.
"From what people on the ground are saying, there may be no more survivors," he said.
