The head of Northern Ireland's Millennium project has expressed confidence it will get final approval for a £90 million leisure, sports and science centre on Belfast's waterfront.
Mr Roy McNulty, chairman of the Odyssey Trust Company, said the organisation was on target to meet its requirements in order to receive £45 million from the British Millennium Commission. The remaining £45 million is due to come from private interests and statutory bodies.
Mr McNulty said almost 600 full-time and part-time jobs would be created by the project, sited on 23 acres at the Abercorn Basin at Belfast Harbour Estate.
