The 2003 Daffodil Day Campaign was launched today by the Minister for Health and Children Mr Micheál Martin.
Daffodil Day will be held nationwide on Friday March 21st.
All funds raised by Daffodil Day collections will finance Homecare and Night Nursing for patients with cancer and nurse education.
The Irish Cancer Society, the organisers of Daffodil Day, is celebrating forty years as the national charity for cancer care this year. They have been at the forefront of providing services for cancer patients in this country since 1963.

Daffodil Day was introduced in Ireland for the first time in 1988. Last year's even raised a record €2.7 million and this year the Society hopes to exceed that figure.
