London - Six schoolgirls lost overnight in atrocious conditions on Dartmoor sang songs as they huddled together for warmth in a three-person tent while searchers were looking for them. The girls, 14 and 15-year-old pupils at Torpoint school in Cornwall, bedded down for the night north of Princetown, hours after they lost their bearings in mist and driving rain before reaching the first checkpoint on a 12-mile training hike. They walked off the moor near Postbridge - their original destination - as a search by helicopters and 120 members of the Dartmoor Rescue Group, resumed.
