The monastic midlands is the theme of 20th Roscrea Spring Conference, which runs from today until Sunday.
Held at Mount St Joseph Cistercian Abbey, it will include talks on art and patronage, Celtic rules and writing and ecclesiastical sources. Speakers will include Father Uinseann O Maidin, author of The Celtic Monk; Dr John Feehan; and Mr Liam de Paor.
