Extra temporary staff are being taken on by An Bord Pleanala to deal with continuing delays in deciding appeals. The Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands, Mr Eamon O Cuiv, said it was of crucial importance that the planning system worked efficiently and effectively.
