Lions prop Darren Morris has been omitted from Wales' 36-man training squad for the Lloyds TSB Six Nations Championship.
The Swansea loosehead misses out, despite Wales coach Graham Henry naming four props - Duncan Jones, Iestyn Thomas, Chris Anthony and Spencer John.
There are three uncapped players in the group - Newport centre Andy Marinos, Pontypridd hooker Mefin Davies and Neath back-row forward Nathan Bonner-Evans.
And Henry has also selected Swansea centre Mark Taylor, despite his lack of competitive action since last summer's Lions tour to Australia. Taylor had knee surgery immediately after the trip Down Under but is expected to make his comeback during the next few weeks.
Cardiff flanker Martyn Williams, another Lions injury casualty, features among the back-row candidates after recovering from shoulder trouble.
High-profile rugby league convert Iestyn Harris, who made his union Test debut against Argentina two months ago, is included. He will face a strong challenge for the fly-half position from Llanelli's Stephen Jones when Wales launch their Six Nations campaign against Ireland in Dublin on February 3rd.
