New York - Mossad, Israel's spy agency, is looking for recruits and has taken out newspaper adverts to find them.

The organisation, which used to deny its very existence, began placing "help wanted" adverts in newspapers yesterday looking for intelligence officers.

A source told the New York Post that Mossad, which usually recruits from the military, already has enough hit men - what the agency needs are intelligence people who can run the espionage network.

Mossad is famous for capturing the escaped Nazi, Adolph Eichmann, in Argentina and bringing him to trial in Israel for his crimes of transporting Jews to death camps during the second World War.
