A motorcylist has died after a road crash in Co Laois.
The collision between the motorcycle and a car, which was towing a horsebox, occurred at Togher near Portaoise at around 3pm yesterday.
The 30-year-old male motorcylist was fatally injured in the crash. His name has not yet been released.
Meanwhile, gardai have released the name of the 38-year-old Lithuanian national who died in a road crash in Drogheda early yesterday morning.

He was Ernestas Rimkus with an address at Riverbank, Drogheda.
He died after his car went out of control and hit a telegraph pole just before 1am on the Rathmullen Road in Drogheda.
