As all trains from Limerick, Cork and Kerry on Sunday morning are sold out, traffic is expected to be very heavy. A convoy of 50 coaches is reportedly leaving Limerick on Sunday morning.
Traffic restrictions will be in place around Lansdowne Road, where the crunch match takes place. Parking will be prohibited around the stadium. Lansdowne Road, Herbert Road, New Bridge Avenue, Havelock Square, Vavasour Square and O'Connell Gardens will be closed from shortly before the match until the match ends - with a resounding Munster victory - hopefully.
Weatherwise, a largely dry and sunny Saturday is forecast, although some patchy rain may reach the West and Northwest. Temperatures will range between 13 and 17 °C.
Drizzle is set to spread tomorrow night, but will die out on Sunday morning, leaving a cloudy but dry day with some sunny spells, accompanied by fresh southerly breezes.
Apart from the inevitable jams on the roads from Munster to Dublin, there are few other major traffic hotspots to worry about. Landscaping is being be carried out on the N3 during the mornings this weekend, while similar work will take place on the M1, M50 and N1 next Sunday and Monday morning.
DART and commuter services between Pearse Street and Greystones remain closed at the weekend, while bus transfers will be in place between Connolly and Greystones on Arklow and Rosslare services.
There are also major alterations to services on the Waterford to Dublin route. Passengers on all services are advised to contact Iarnród Éireann before leaving.
Bus Éireann is running a special bus service to the Navan Races from Dublin tomorrow.
