Munster have been forced to make two changes from the side that beat Biarritz for tomorrow afternoon’s European Cup semi-final against Stade Francais.
John Kelly, who failed to recover from a hamstring injury, makes way for John O’Neill on the right wing and, as expected, Donnacha O'Callaghan deputises for the long term injured Alan Quinlan in the back row. Otherwise, coach Declan Kidney was able to name a full strength side for the game in Lille.
There had been concerns in the Munster camp over the availability of scrum-half Peter Stringer, Dominic Crotty and David Wallace all of whom had been carrying knocks. In the event it was only Kelly, having tweaked his hamstring during training earlier this week, who was unable to recover in time for the crunch European Cup tie.
Stade Francais, slight favourites to progressto the final, were able to name their strongest team with both Christoph Moni, who appealed his one-game ban for incurring two yellow cards in domestic competition, and injury doubt Richard Pool-Jones selected to play.
The winners of tomorrow’s match will face either Leicester or Gloucester in next month's final
