The book of evidence in a case in which a Limerick man is charged with the murder of his mother was presented at Limerick District Court yesterday.
Judge Tom O'Donnell last week threatened to strike out the charge if the State did not produce the book by this week.
Yesterday was the 18th time that Mr Damian Donnon (18), single, of De Valera Park, Thomondgate, Limerick, has been before the court since April last while remanded in custody. He is charged with the murder of Ms Jennifer Donnon, De Valera Park, on April 17th last.
Mr Ted McCarthy, defending, asked for an adjournment until Wednesday next to give the defence an opportunity to read the book of evidence.
The judge granted the request and the accused was remanded in custody until January 24th.
