The man charged with the murder of a man in Clondalkin on Christmas Day appeared in Kilmainham District Court yesterday. Mr Christopher Boylan (26), of Rossmore Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin, had been arrested outside Ballyfermot Garda station on December 27th and was charged with murdering Jason Ryan at Harelawn Park on December 25th. Judge Gillian Hussey remanded Mr Boylan in custody to January 16th.
His brother also appeared in the same court charged with assaulting a witness in the murder case. Mr Stephen Boylan (39), of St Mark's Grove, Clondalkin, was charged with assault causing harm to Ms Jennifer Hudson at his home on December 27th. He was remanded him on his own bail to Friday.
