The RUC have launched a murder investigation after the body of a 15-year-old boy was found in a house in County Armagh.

The RUC have launched a murder investigation after the body of a 15-year-old boy was found in a house in County Armagh.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested for questioning after detectives were called to the house on Green Road, Bessbrook, late last night and discovered the body, said an RUC spokesman.

A post mortem examination was being conducted to establish the cause of death.

The dead youth was a fourth year pupil at the nearby St Paul's High School where principal Mr Francis Duffy said staff and pupils were in a state of shock at the news.

"He was a very nice young boy, it is tragic that he has died," said Mr Duffy.

He added: "He was very pleasant, came to school regularly and got on well with all the staff and the pupils."
