Murder investigation underway as man's body found

Gardai have started a murder investigation following the discovery of a man's body in Dublin early this morning.

The body of David Sutherland (54), with an address at Sheelin Hill, Ballybrack, was found at Pearse Gardens, Sallynoggin, at 1.40 a.m. by a local resident.

A post mortem found that he died from serious head injuries. Gardai are anxious to trace Sutherland's movements yesterday.
