Visegrad - Hundreds of Bosnian Muslims made a rare visit to an eastern town yesterday to bury 152 kin believed to have been killed by Serbs in the 1992-1995 war.
Muslims fled "ethnic cleansing" in Visegrad in the early stages of the war and community officials hoped this weekend's heavily-guarded ceremony might speed the return of refugees, which started a year ago.
As Muslims prepared for the religious ceremony on a hot afternoon, dozens of Serb police guarded the event. An equal number also lined the road stretching 90 km east from Sarajevo to Visegrad, which lies near the Yugoslav border.
