Beijing - Frantic efforts were being made yesterday to find a solution to the diplomatic dilemma involving the North Korean family who have taken refuge in the Beijing office of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), writes Miriam Donohoe.
The UNHCR regional representative, Mr Colin Mitchell, said it would be unthinkable to repatriate the seven North Koreans who entered the UNHCR building on Tuesday and demanded refugee status.
