Neil Diamond is to play at Croke Park next summer, it has been announced.
The seated concert will take place on Saturday, June 14th, and the venue will have a capacity of about 60,000, similar to that for the Celine Dion concert, which takes place two weeks earlier.
Diamond was one of the first artists to play a major concert at Croke Park, in 1984.
He has since played the venue three other times, twice in 1992 and in 1996.

Concerts at Lansdowne Road, twice in 2002 and in 2005, were also sell-outs.
Diamond's recently released 12 Songs album was well received by critics and fans.
Tickets for this year's concert go on sale on Friday.
