Music legend Neil Young is to play the O2 this summer.
Young, who sold out outdoor concerts at Malahide Castle and The Marquee in Cork last year, will play the venue on Sunday, June 21st.
Young’s band will include his wife Pegi Young who released her self-titled solo album in 2007.
Young is a long time visitor to Irish shores and headlined Slane Castle in 1993 with Booker T and the MGs.
2009 will see the release of Young's latest solo album Fork in the Road, which is expected to see him return to his country roots.
He has inspired generations of musicians from his time with Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, to his early solo albums Harvest and After the Gold Rush and his time in the 1990s when he became known as the Godfather of Grunge.
