Friends and colleagues of solicitor Rosemary Nelson gathered at the Church of Notre Dame de France in central London on Saturday to pay tribute to the life and work of the human rights campaigner, who was killed two months ago when a bomb set by loyalists exploded underneath her car in Lurgan, County Armagh.
Those present included broadcaster Jeremy Hardy, Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn and actor Adrian Dunbar, who read from a poem by Seamus Heaney. Mr Hardy was among several who called for an independent inquiry into allegations of collusion by the RUC in her murder.
