Irish mobile technology company Network365 which has an R&D Centre in Letterkenny, has become the first Irish Company to win a prestigious GSM Association Award during the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes.
Network365 won the Best Wireless Application Developer Award at the awards ceremony held in Cannes last night.
The GSM Association is the world's leading wireless industry representative body, consisting of more than 600 second and third generation wireless network operators and key manufacturers and suppliers to the wireless industry.
The Association's members provide digital wireless services to more than 646 million customers and the GSM Platform accounts for approximately 70 per cent of the total digital wireless market today.
Since its foundation, Network365 has garnered worldwide acclaim for its wireless product strategy and has developed unique skills.
Both Time Magazineand Infoconomist Magazinehave listed the company as one of Europe¹s hottest technology companies.
