Manchester United defender Gary Neville has had his £30,000 sterling fine for using foul and abusive language towards a match official cut to £7,000.
The FA's independent appeal board agreed the £30,000 fine was too high, but his two-game ban will stand.
Neville was charged with misconduct after United's FA Cup defeat at home to West Ham on January 28th.
His ban begins on Monday and he will be suspended for the home match against Derby on Saturday week and the trip to Southampton on May 13th.
