Eamonn O’Reilly has been named as the new chief executive of Dublin Port Company.
He replaces Enda Connellan.
Mr O'Reilly is the former chief executive of Dublin Port-based handling business, Portroe Stevedores, a position he held since 2005.
He also held the role of group business development manager of Portroe’s parent company, Doyle Shipping Group, during that time.

Prior to joining the Doyle Shipping Group, he was business development manager for Securicor Ireland.
Mr O’Reilly will take up his appointment in early August 2010.
