Racing: Tomorrow's meeting at Newbury has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
Officials called an inspection earlier this morning but following a 12pm check, they were left with no choice but to call off their card.
"Racing has been abandoned due to the course being waterlogged in certain areas," said clerk of the course Richard Osgood.
"Further rain is forecast tonight so we felt it would not have enough chance to improve.
"In the last week we have had over 100 millimetres of rain and 25 millimetres in the last 24 hours."
