Disinfectant measures at Northern Ireland's ports and airports to prevent the spread of foot-and-mouth disease have ended.
Stormont Agriculture Minister Michelle Gildernew today confirmed the steps ended on Saturday.
The Minister confirmed that, following consultation between her department and the Department of Agriculture and Food in Dublin, similar action is being taken in the Republic.
The 10-kilometre surveillance zone around the source of the Surrey outbreak in August has been lifted and export restrictions eased.
