A teenager from Northern Ireland has been found dead in a swimming pool in Crete.
Brendan McCooey (18), from Cullyhanna, Co Armagh was discovered yesterday morning after going on holiday with eight friends from the village.
The keen footballer had only been there since Thursday.
Local councillor Terry Hearty said residents were devastated.

"It is unbelievable that this should happen and the entire community is shocked," he said.
"There were eight friends from the area so there are a lot of people affected."
The Sinn Féin representative added the reason for the death was not known at this stage but said police in Crete were investigating.
