A Garda objection to a change of ownership for a Dublin nightclub had to be adjourned yesterday when a defence counsel was unable to attend court.
Eleven gardai and a number of civilian witnesses were in court to give evidence against an application to have ownership of Shafts Nightclub, Ely Place, Dublin changed from Moyfield Ltd to Lacehane Ltd.
The nightclub, currently trading as the Altar, is appealing four endorsements for breaches of the licensing laws.
Judge John McDonnell adjourned the case to January 27th for mention.
