Nike has announced the purchase of Umbro in a deal that valued the sportswear firm at £285 million (€408.7 million).
Nike, the world's largest athletic shoe and clothing maker, said shareholders would received 193.06 pence per share in Umbro, a premium of approximately 61 per cent on the closing price of 120 pence per Umbro share on October 17th.
The group said Umbro shareholders would also received the interim dividend of 1.94 pence per share.
