Washington - A lawyer for Timothy McVeigh said yesterday that the Oklahoma City bomber has not authorised the legal team to "go forward with anything" since his execution was postponed because of the FBI disclosure of additional documents not provided in the case.
Mr Robert Nigh said the legal team had only begun to review the thousands of pages of documents held by the FBI and refused to say whether any so far contained information that might influence McVeigh's 1997 conviction.
Governor Frank Keating of Oklahoma, however, said he did not expect the disclosed FBI gaffe to change the case significantly, though he indicated it could result in another delay.
