No arrests have yet been made in the investigation into the murder of Seamus "Shavo" Hogan last Saturday night, but gardaí say the investigation is progressing.

Hogan was killed at the Transport Club in Crumlin on Saturday night when two masked men fired six shots at him in the grounds of the club.

He was facing charges in connection with the seizure of £500,000 worth of cannabis resin and was also being investigated by the Criminal Assets Bureau and the National Drugs Unit.

Chief Supt Noel Smith, leading the investigation from Crumlin Garda station, told ireland.comtoday the Gardaí were continuing to make inquiries.
