Former Fianna Fail Minister Mrs Maire Geoghegan-Quinn has declined to comment on reports that she is to seek her party's nomination to contest the presidential election. Mrs Geoghegan-Quinn said last night she had just returned from a family holiday in Spain and had not given the matter any thought. She confirmed she was suing the State over an incident at the Fianna Fail Christmas party in Leinster House in 1995 during which she broke her ankle while dancing.
