Police said today no explosives were found in an abandoned suitcase at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport after a bomb squad was called in and two departure halls were evacuated.
Two of three departure halls at the busy international airport on the outskirts of the Dutch capital were earlier evacuated, delaying several dozen flights.
"No explosives were found in the suitcase," a police spokesman said. The two departure halls sealed off earlier were expected to re-open later in the day, he said.
