Mr Larry Goodman, of Goodman International, speaking through a spokesman, said yesterday neither he nor any of his companies made any investment, directly or indirectly, in Celtic Helicopters.
The comment follows mention this week in the Moriarty Tribunal of Mr Goodman in relation to Mr Michael Murphy, of Mike Murphy Insurance Brokers. Mr Murphy's company conducted a substantial amount of business with Mr Goodman's companies in 1992 when Mr Murphy was involved in securing a £100,000 investment in Celtic Helicopters.
"Neither Mr Goodman nor Goodman International or its associated companies have any knowledge of any payment made by Michael Murphy Ltd or by DB Agencies to Celtic Helicopters," the spokesman said.
