Gardaí investigating the murder of Jamaican mother-of-two Ms Natasha Gray said there have been no sightings of Ms Gray's husband, Mr Goodwill Udechuckwu, since her body was found on Tuesday afternoon.

Ms Gray (25) was bludgeoned to death at her home at Royal Canal View, Phibsboro, Dublin, on Tuesday. Mr Udechuckwu (29), a Nigerian, was seen in Dublin city centre shortly after the killing. However gardaí said there had been no further sightings since the discovery of Ms Gray's body.

Gardaí at Mountjoy are seeking public assistance in the search for Mr Udechuckwu.

He is described as 6 ft 2 in, of broad build and weighing 13 stone.

He has been known to use the first names Isaac and James. Mr Udechuckwu has been in the Republic since 2001 and is thought to have made few acquaintances outside the Nigerian community.
