Republic of Ireland midfielder Matt Holland has confirmed that he expects to be at Portman Road playing for Ipswich when the new season kicks off in August.
Holland was widely expected to leave the First Division club, who narrowly missed out on the play-offs and are struggling financially, and newspaper reports have linked Holland with a move to Tottenham.
But the Ipswich captain insists talk of a transfer is merely speculation and he told the club's official website: "I don't know where the Tottenham story came from. There's no way I have talked about Spurs at all.
"My name has been linked with a number of clubs for a while but I'm more than happy at Ipswich and, as far as I'm concerned, I will be at the club next season."
