Northern Ireland received a further jobs boost today with the announcement of the creation of more than 600 jobs.
The latest jobs are being created by French-owned Teleperformance, an international leader in the provision of outsourced business services to an international client base including the retail, banking, telecommunications, travel and health sectors.
The company has offices in Bangor and Newry, Co Down, and all the 610 jobs being created over the next two years will be at the Newry base.
Teleperformance was set up less than two years after being established and has already reached its target of 450 employees.
The announcement of the call centre posts came 24 hours after nearly 1,000 new jobs were heralded, 900 of them at a call centre in Derry.
