Northbound trains and Dart services are returning to normal tonight after they were suspended earlier due to an incident at Harmonstown in north Dublin.
All northbound Dart trains and commuter services from Connolly Station were affected for up to two hours by the disruption.
Iarnród Éireann said "knock on delays" had resulted in services operating between an hour and two hours later than scheduled.
The company said commuters were able to use train tickets on Dublin Bus services during the disruption.
