Fianna Fáil has selected sitting TD Jim Glennon, and councillors Michael Kennedy and Darragh O'Brien, to stand in the Dublin North constituency at the next general election.
Sitting Fianna Fáil TD GV Wright announced at the start of the year that he would not be contesting the 4-seat constituency.
The forthcoming general election will be the first Malahide-based Mr O'Brien has contested. Mr Kennedy contested the last election in 2002.
The three men were selected unopposed at a convention in Swords tonight.
