Ireland second row Paul O'Connell has been called into the staring line-up for Munster's Celtic League quarter-final against Connacht this Friday.
O'Connell, who has been out with a shoulder injury since June, will be partnered by Donncha O'Callaghan in his first competitive start for Munster.
Both Jeremy Staunton and Anthony Horgan failed late fitness tests, while Dominic Crotty is also ruled out.
The injuries mean that Kilian Keane will start at full back and Colm McMahon will start on the right wing.
